lot. turning now to the penn state scandal, former assistant football coach jerry sandusky said today he never molested young boys. he said prosecutors have twisted and distorted his work with children. elaine quijano has the latest. >> reporter: for the it could same since he was chargelast month, jerry sandusky denied sexually abusing any children. in a "new york times" interview, he said, "these allegations are false. i didn't do those things. i never engaged in sexual acts with these young kids." the 67-year-old also says he never discussed any accusations of misconduct with former penn state football coach joe paterno. "i don't know that he didn't know. i know that he never said anything do me. i know that." investigators say sandusky used his charity for underprivileged kids, the second mile, to prey on his victims. he does not deny showering and sleeping alone with kids in hotel rooms but says the interactions were innocent. today. anna werner reports jerry sandusky faces new charges after two more accusers came forward. anna. >> reporter: scott, tonight, jerry sandusky sits behind bars in this correctional facility here in center county, pennsylvania. his bail is set at $250,000. police arrested sandusky at his home shortly after 1:00 this afternoon. authorities took him into custody after the pennsylvania attorney general filed 12 new charges against him, including nine felonies, in connection with two new alleged victims whom the attorney general calls victim 9 and victim 10. according to the grand jury report, victim 9, now 18, described a pattern of repeated sexual abuse, including rape, beginning when he was 11 or 12 years old, and continuing until december 2008. which would make him the most recent alleged victim thus far. he said many incidents occurred in the basement bedroom of sandusky's home and he testified that at least once he screamed for help, knowing that sandusky's wife was upstairs. but no one ever came to help him. victim 10 also described how he spent most of his time in sandusk

his computer. jerry sandusky vowed today that he will fight charges that he sexually abused ten young boys while he was an assistant coach at penn state. there was supposed to be a pretrial hearing today with sandusky facing his accusers, but it ended before it began, leaving the lawyers to make their arguments on the courthouse steps. armen keteyian is in bellefonte, pennsylvania tonight. armen? >> reporter: good evening, scott. today was the first time we expected to hear from several alleged victims in the case, emotional testimony due to last all day. instead, we got a very different kind of drama. within minutes of judge robert scott calling the court to order, sandusky's attorney waived his clients' right to the hearing, triggering audible gasps inside a packed courtroom. the 67-year-old sandusky entered the county courthouse under heavy guard. he'll now be formally arraigned on january 11 where he is expected to plead not guilty to 52 counts related to child sex abuse involving ten boys over a span of 15 years. as he walked out of court today, he used a football reference
